O ICOM Portugal e o ICOM Europa organizam conjuntamente nos dias 5 e 6 de Abril, no Museu Nacional de Etnologia em Lisboa, uma Conferência destinada a promover a troca de conhecimento relacionado com a diversidade de políticas públicas para museus e as suas relações com a crise - financeira, económica e, sobretudo, social e cultural - presentemente a ter lugar na Europa, assim como para reflectir sobre possíveis forma de a superar, antecipando o ulterior quadro emergente.O programa inclui palestras e painéis com especialistas convidados, assim como apresentações livres, seleccionadas  a partir de propostas recebidas dos participantes registados.

ICOM Portugal and ICOM Europe are jointly organising on 5 and 6 April, at the Museu Nacional de Etnologia in Lisbon, a Conference to promote the exchange of knowledge related to the diversity of public policies towards museums and its relations with the financial and economic, but most of all, social and cultural crisis currently developing in Europe, as well as to reflect on possible ways to overpass it, anticipating the emerging framework. The programme includes communications and panels with invited experts, as well as free presentations, selected from proposals received by registered participants. All professionals and students in museology, cultural heritage and cultural policies in general are kindly invited to register and participate.
